Mammary Self exploration
The mammary self-exploration is a technique that consist
of the own observation and detection that the woman does of
her breasts.
It serves to be able to detect the appearance of some alteration
in the form or the size normal of the chests and power thus
to deal with it precocious way.
RISK FACTORS
- Sex. It mainly appears in women. It
may also affect men, but the probability is scarce.
- Age. 60% of women who suffer breast
cancer are over 60.
- Genes. There are two kinds of genes,
BRCA1 and BRCA2, whose mutation can cause breast cancer.
- Relatives affected. When a first degree
relative (mother, sister or daughter) has suffered breast
cancer, the risk multiplies by two. When it is a second
degree relative (grandmother, aunt or cousin), the risk
increases slightly.
- Menstrual period. The sooner your period
starts (if it stars before you are 12), the higher the
risk is compared to those who started later. Women with
late menopause (after you are 55) have a higher risk.
- Life style. Abuse of alcohol, smoking,
obesity, etc.
Advantages of WOMAN EXPLORER:
- Enhances the feel, making it easier to detect faster
and more accurately any unknown formation, even lumps
the size of a pinhead or a sugar grain. In case it turns
out to be breast cancer, a prompt diagnosis increases
considerably the probability of curing it.
- Makes the feeling easier, that is, smoother and without
anything interfering with the feel.
- Increases the perception of breast tissue.
- Allows for a more effective and simple self-diagnostic
within the privacy of your home.
- Detects more accurately the changes in your breast skin
or structure.
- It is especially useful when feeling with your fingers
is painful.
